Rockefeller Museum

The Rockefeller Museum is located in East Jerusalem, just outside the northeast corner of the Old City Wall.
It was the first major museum to be built in Jerusalem—established in 1927. Although it is now eclipsed by the Israel Museum, the Rockefeller still houses some important artifacts and is the home to the Israel Antiquity Authority.
