Vienne — Vienna

site

Vienne, ancient Vienna (Latin), is located on the Rhone River that flows from north to south through southeastern France, into the Mediterranean Sea—150 miles "as the crow flies." It was the place to which Archelaus, son of Herod the Great who ruled Samaria, Judea, and Idumea from 4 BC to AD 6, was exiled.
