Refectory Ancient Altars

Here a number of artifacts from the surrounding countryside have been collected. The three standing objects, and the one in the niche, seem to be ancient pagan altars.

According to literary sources Apollo, Artemis, and Aphrodite were worshiped on the island—but to-date, no actual sanctuaries have been found, although inscriptions have been discovered (displayed in the library, no photography permitted).
