Dionysus Stage Relief (2)

View of an additional section of the second century A.D. marble relief that fronted the stage of the Theater of Dionysus. On the right of the relief note the crouching silenus (a satyr-like figure). In the center, worshipers seem to be offering on an altar that is located under a grape clustered vine.

Note, below and to the left of the altar, the animals that are visible in this scene.
