Ritual Bath

View of a “ritual bath” (Miqveh) that is located in the interior garden of the Upper Herodium. Given its position in the garden, it seems that this ritual bath may date to the time of the First (A.D. 66-70) or Second (A.D. 132-135) Jewish Revolts when religious Jews controlled the Herodium.
