Columns of the St. Mary’s Church

View looking down and west on the central columns of the final version of the Church of St. Mary the Green at Ashqelon. The columns are made of Aswan (Egypt) granite. In its final form it seems to have been cruciform in shape.

In the center, on the floor, there seems to be the remains of a baptistery.
