Area B Rooms 3 and 4

View looking down on to what Garfinkel calls Rooms 4 and 3 (51:47 of his lecture). Room 4 is in the lower center of the picture and Room 3 is the long room above it. He says that Room 3 contained 70 to 80 whole vessels (see 53:11 in his lecture for a picture of these vessels)! He suggests that it was a "storage room." Seeds from this room date to about 1,000 BC according to radio Carbon dating.

This room, and 1, 2, and 4 near it, date to the time of David—i.e, 1,000 BC.
