Jaffa Gate Interior (1)

View looking west from just inside Jaffa Gate. The pedestrian entrance is just right (north) of center. The outer wall of the Citadel is visible on the left (south) side of the image. The road in the center of the image was built over the ancient moat that was filled in 1898 so that Kaiser Wilhelm II could enter the Old City by carriage!
