Old Ancient Core

On the right side of the “core” is a terraced pathway. That is located where the Kidron Valley runs and detracts a bit from the perspective presented by the model.

On the left (west) side of the “core” is a depression. This is where the Central (Tyropoeon) Valley is located. The western hill rises on the left (west) side of the image.
