II Condemnation Floor/Game

View looking at an ancient game that is inscribed in the ancient floor of Roman Catholic “Chapel of Condemnation.” This chapel preserves the memory of Jesus being condemned to death in this area.

This floor also appears in the Convent of the Sisters of Zion, but it dates to the period of Hadrian (AD 117-138), and not to the time of Jesus as was formerly believed.

For a more probable view of the place of the condemnation of Jesus see the Introduction to the Via Dolorosa.
