NC Peacocks
ID: ISNHMM14

View of two peacocks, a vase and a variety of fruit. The steps in the picture lead up to the chancel area in front of the apse.
Some believe that a peacock is a symbol of immortality because it was believed that their flesh did not decay after death. In addition, the peacock replaces his feathers annually, and as such is a symbol of renewal.
