Dancer (Detail)
ID: TCMCPA02

View of a statue of a dancer, maybe associated with Bacchus (the god of wine) rites. It is 7.5 ft. [2.25 m.] tall.
It is very unusual because it is made out of two types of marble - white (skin) and black (clothing). It was found in the southern baths at Perge and probably dates to the second century A.D.
