Religious Building

View of the interior of a special building located among the many shops that lined the south side of the Western Colonnaded Street. The back vaulted wall of this building is preserved to a height of 18 feet. The walls were plastered with frescos, and there is a very unique niche built into the back wall that was faced with colored marble panels. The floor was covered by a very well–preserved mosaic depicting a scene from the Trojan War!
