D Pillar 18a

One of the two tallest pillars named P18 is18 ft. [5.5 m.] tall! Note the base on which it stands the carved narrow portion of the column. The columns are carved in bas relief where large parts of the monument have been carved away and the desired "relief" is left in tact. How persons in 9,500 B.C. were able to do this is amazing!
