Theater Area

View from the terrace where the Temple of Trajan was located looking south across the theater of Pergamum. The theater had 80 rows of seats and was the steepest of all of the theaters in Turkey. The vertical drop from the top seats to the stage area is 165 ft. [50 m.] It could seat about 10,000 people.
