West of Temple 2

View looking northeast at the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount area.

On the upper left (northwest) two towers of the Antonia Fortress are visible.

Note especially the bridge—located just left of center—that connects the western hill to the Temple Mount. Remnants of one of the arches (Wilson’s Arch) are still in existence.

The arrow in the center of the image points to the area of the Western Wall.

In the lower-left, note the bridge and the staircase. This is the bridge above Robinson’s Arch.

In the upper portion of the image the Temple building is visible, and on the right a portion of the Royal Portico.
